First of all, we removed what’s called ‘3D features’. Essentially it was a button that allowed you to mark a specific region of an image and convert that selection into a 3D object. An example of this is if you wanted to edit three different parts of an image and create a butt cap. A quick example of what this feature looks like is on the right of this post. It’s highly useful since you can create 3D effects and layouts. However, it comes at a price and costs £9.95 per month. Lose this feature and you’ll be able to cut up a logo or a photo into a ‘butterfly’ and set the wings just by rotating the logo to bring. This is a killer feature, but it’s not being developed or supported anymore. You can see in this example how the logo is now a 3D shape: I’ve rotated the image to create a third dimension.
The new PhotoBlocks ‘pack’ is very exciting and, believe me, you’ll be using this more than Photoshop 2020 itself.
