When you step into the world of Age of Empires 2 you’re treated to the sights of a medieval fantasy setting. The animation is also quite impressive, with many of the units having distinctive movements and voices. This all adds to the realism of the game.

Age of Empires: The History Season is a standalone expansion that gives us a peek into the past of the Hordu Empire. The voxel graphics, the races, the campaigns, as well as the civilizations themselves all shine brighter than ever. As such, it would be difficult to play this game on its own, but if you happen to be a fan of the series, then you won’t be disappointed.
