2D vector graphics
The 2D vector graphics display is based on the company’s previous B-Cubed vector rendering system. The 2D vector graphics engine now performs some calculations in real time on the fly, allowing rendering to appear as if it has not had to wait for bitmap access. Previously, Bitmaps were created on demand as needed to represent things like text, symbols and other areas of the drawing. The 2D vector graphics engine can now do some basic rendering of a drawing on-the-fly, using an advanced rendering technique called fog. If the drawing is specifically required to be bitmap-based and stored in a bitmap, AutoCAD Activation Code can disable vector rendering and use the bitmap. The 2D vector graphics engine supports multiple rendering engines, including OpenGL and Direct3D.
AutoCAD supports viewing and editing of 2D vector graphics in a variety of formats, including DWG, PDF, XPS, EPS, and SVG. In addition, the final output can be rendered as PDF or EPS or exported as either as DXF, DWG, or JPG for viewing on a computer. AutoCAD can also render PNG images, even on mobile devices with a viewing app. In recent versions, 2D graphics can be printed directly from the display, including color-managed PDF, DXF and SVG printing.
2D and 3D features
