A text file that describes what is in the document and what AutoCAD calls “contextual help”, or navigation help. It is the preferred way of finding commands, and also can be used to display the images in the Help window. It has a search feature which will open the acdoc.chm file, or allows the user to search for the exact string on the command line. The file for a drawing is named acdis.chm and is found at C:\Program Files\AutoCAD\acdis.chm (if installed on Windows), or C:\Program Files\AutoCAD\acdis.chm (if installed in a different location).
