Bleach Circle Eden Mayuri 6 12

Welcome to my review of the 14th Bleach Blu-ray set which contains episodes 343-360. Episodes 343-349 contain episodes from the Yamanaka Arc, and episodes 350-360 contain episodes from the Arrancar: The Second Death arc. I will be getting to the review of these two arcs next week. I wanted to mention that the Viz Media release of this set was terrible. The set was inconsistent in quality with the volume covers, the quality of the box art, and quality of the special features which makes sense since we got the 2015 version of the box set with the volume covers. Yama Taka spends the entire episode at a sea-side which is a weird place for the drama team to be and would never occur in real life, however, the anime gives a convenient excuse for her dramatic outburst. It is a bit of a shame because the box art for this release is fantastic with all of the new characters and their markings from the original manga (you will see what I mean soon). Anyway, the first episode of the Yamanaka arc contains some amazing battles, especially against the Arrancar Crocus and Gigantic Weisz. The Shikai and Arrancar Gigantic Gigantic Fly Guy-Zangetsu fight is really cool. And much like the previous release, the opening and ending themes are different for every episode, which is pretty bad, as they could have chosen one or even the same theme for this episode. Overall, I had a blast watching this arc and would highly recommend it. Next week, we will cover the rest of the Yamanaka arc which features the new Yaka, Kougan (who is a cute boy), and a host of other new characters.

This Week, the month of the series Bleach will be covered through the Bleach volume 8 9, which will cover all of the Arrancar: Downfall of the Espada arc. The next arc is the second part of the conclusion to the Gotei 13 arc, and the final arc in the main series, which consists of a double-cross between the Gotei 13 and Orihime Inoue’s team of thirteen shinigami. We will cover episodes 25-29 of the Volume 9 arc, and end with the final fight between Ichigo and Aizen. We will end this arc with Bleach volume 8 9.
