of course the only problem there is is that my DVB-C receiver is old as there not a ton out there goes still use them. I was hoping that would fix the issue but it doesnt. I kind of see where u r coming from Hans but some of the comments does show that some things just dont work even though the Video software is just fine I have dvb-t2 working fine but im just going to keep going with the new on because of the quality is still very good and can be lower in resolution if u want it too. I will say this I have an older Sony htpc 3100 b4 with Windows 7 premium OS and when the sony software gives me a crystal clear picture then my Aver does as well, i have never been as happy with a hardware setup. The Aver can go lower resolutions if u want to and still look like a movie
I tried all the free and stuff software but nothing worked for me and I have no clue as to what exactly is going on because the picture is wonderful and it works fine on my my old SB but there was clear lines and weird pulses. I did find that making sure the room is quiet helps too as it might be a problem with the receiver
We have a Panasonic PK-BT37ZA in our house. The resulted with TurboAVC whilst transferring a 1080p video from a TiVo (from Viewing angle is fine with this set up. ) to the VCR over HDMI It was obvious that the video was being compressed. I used iCamsoft video converter and the resulting from the conversion was a format that can be played on any TV. In my case the TV, Only supports the video in the original format. All tablets and phones are fine. What a ridiculous law when this is the only way to digitize old tapes!!!!!!!
