What matters in the end is that I cannot use parts of the software that are intuitively there, starting with the Exposure and Levels Adjustment Layers. At the same time, I have to fully appreciate that these interfaces have been around for a long time, and that they are so well-established that everyone knows them inside out. For the most part, Lightroom feels familiar to users, and that is what matters. Few people are ever going to switch to a completely new interface, regardless of how attractive it is.
