ok. i have a problem with my ym2413 and i’m trying to find out how to make a dump of the memory. i’ve got a dump of the cpu memory and i’m trying to get the ram dump. i’ve been using windows xp but i’ve since switched to win 7 and i can’t get the dump. i’ve attached a zip file. here’s what i’ve tried: – i used the ‘diag tool’ to get the dump, but the dump file was empty. – i used the’memdump’ tool to get the dump, but it says i don’t have enough memory to get the dump. – i tried the ‘dumpmem’ tool, but it says i can’t get the dump because i don’t have enough memory. – i tried the’memmon.exe’ from the ‘win32’ folder of the yamaha site, but it gives me a warning that it’s a bad file, and that it may be infected and i should contact my anti-virus provider. i’m running ‘windows defender’ and ‘windows live defender’ and i don’t see any problems.
i’m happy to announce that i have finally sorted the problem with downloading midi files. i’ve tested it on my new isp and it’s working! the only problem i’m not sure how to solve is that the file can’t be opened with an external software (winamp). i tried to upload the file to a larger hosting server in the netherlands and then download it, but i always got an error message. but now i think i have found a solution: i found a way to download the midi file to my xg-midi file (included in the xg-central zip file). i have this file on a different isp, so i can download it. i will upload the file to the netherlands soon, and i will then be able to download it with my new isp. i will also look into the problem with opening the midi file with winamp. don’t wait for me, i will make it shortly. sorry for the delay. if you have any problems, please email me with the request. the filename is xg-midi-02.mid (you may rename the file when uploading).
