eastwest also use’repetition’ samples, which are played continually for the duration of a note. so, if you hit a repeated note, the repetition will continue throughout the whole performance. the’repetition’ samples are great for subtle effects, such as making your entire ensemble sound like it’s playing in a huge concert hall. this is particularly useful if you want to play an ensemble of multiple instruments, all playing together.
