Brute force bruteforces MD5 as no one administers password regenerations so you could just use the original password. His password is “password”. All characters between ‘a’ and ‘z’ are lower case so they would all be ignored, then the following ‘a’, ‘b’, ‘c’, ‘d’,… and lastly the string part to “password”. then MD5(password) MD5(MD5(password)) would be MD5(MD5(‘password’)). Again lowercase would be ignored so the ‘d’ would be ignored and the MD5 would be MD5(MD5(MD5(‘password’))). So he password is “password” and MD5(MD5(MD5(MD5(“password”)))) would be MD5(MD5(MD5(MD5(“password”)))) which you could eventually translate back to the original password. Once again MD5 stringing isn’t translating to MD5 or SHA1 it’s just using the string value as a source of input to MD5…once that MD5 is hashed that hash is your password.
