Dungeon Crawl Classics DCC #69: The Emerald Enchanter is an
adventure path for the new region. It takes place in the newly
created city of Peenmet this adventure path. With more than 7

The Emerald Enchanter.
In this adventure path, you play a character created by the
Storyteller. This character is a half-elf rogue that has recently
started a career as an adventurer. You belong to the City Guard of
Peenmet. During a mission, your partner is caught in an encounter
with some Emerald Enchanter. While he was making way out of the
city he found a series of keys that will unlock one door of the
Emperor’s palace in the new region. Your task is to escape from the
city in the night using one of the last keys. If you fail, you will
be caught by a party of experienced players. In order to escape
from the trap you found in the city, you can either venture into
the Badlands of Peenmet or try to overcome some challenges in the
regions.

What’s new in Fantasy Grounds – Dungeon Crawl Classics 69: The Emerald Enchanter (DCC):
Before we get to work on the cover, I’d like to say that if you’ve enjoyed this column or any of my books, or if you’ve just been following my character development at – haha – e-Faello, then you’re bound to enjoy this. Also, thanks to Paul, this is the first time I’ve gotten “Dungeon Crawl Classics” on the cover, since it’s supposed to be inside of the game, not on the cover. I changed the design to match the character but I didn’t account for the cool font, so the font is hard to read, especially for my Californians. Thanks Paul!

First up on our to-do list is finishing the version of the Moat of Hulda that I finally got around to writing. I just finished the Hero on his Journey, which left me a bit less time to write Throt’s tale. So I’m just throwing it out there, because that’s how I do things.
Throt is a true fighter. He was raised in and around the peasant (peaceful noble-less) town of Aberaw, in the south-western corner of Zoreld to the land of Glim and where he worked as a horse-keeper. This part of Zoreld has had feudalism for the last 300+ years, so they’re used to looking out for themselves, Throt included.
Throt did well in the service of the local lord. He had a good bit of land, and was always well-fed and looked after, the lady of the estate even had him teach her sons to read and write.
Aberaw tended to have a rather large population of oddly-dressed folk. They seemed to look away when you looked at them, even talk to you. Throt did not like this and often did something he knew he shouldn’t, like sneak a peek at one of the local prostitutes. One day, he noticed someone staring at him that had a green gaze. He got the feeling they were not human…
He leaned in closer. “I say, there’s a guy in town who keeps staring at me. I think he wants to know if I’m okay.” He turned away and walked closer to where he had seen this peculiar
