The main reason the game uses the Cube XL is because it’s a more powerful specification, that is designed to run the game at the highest quality.
When compared to other specifications, the Cube XL can run the game at roughly 60% of its resolution. This means on a higher resolution screen, the game will appear more pixelated and therefore look bad.
The reason Coloring Pixel’s ability to run on the Cube XL was never confirmed prior to it being released, is because the team didn’t want to reveal that the game can run on a lower specification than what would otherwise be possible. This was the reason the production costs for the game were so high.
Why Does Coloring Pixel have multiple difficulty levels?
The game itself is difficult, however the game itself doesn’t possess any strong difficulty spikes.
Coloring Pixel itself has a relatively easy mode, a medium mode, and a difficult mode. By level, when comparing them to other puzzle games, the difficulty comes as follows:
Difficulty Mode Rankings:
Easy – Arrange
Medium – Sketch
Difficult – Paste
The reason that the game offers multiple difficulty levels is because after a certain point in the game where the player essentially has “caught on”, you can ask it to “Make things harder”.
“Make things harder” is essentially the same as continuing on. In doing so, the game will run the levels as if the player was to play on the “hard” difficulty.
Such a strategy is also used to increase the difficulty of the “Easy” difficulty level when compared to the “Medium” difficulty level.
Another alternative strategy that can be used is is if you go as far as you can with the “Medium” difficulty mode, and then ask the game to make things harder.
This is possible because the game will say “I’ve done my best, you have to handle the next section”.
At the time of speaking, there was no other strategy, and so it was the only option.
What are these Coloring Pixels Art Boards?

While you are playing the game, you can activate them by using the touch screen.
For each one of them, you are given to make a drawing of their theme.
When you complete a drawing, your results are displayed.

Map Editor
The game comes with a built in map editor that allows players to customize their game play experience. Multiplayer

After months of planning and preparation we are happy to announce our kickstarter campaign will go into an indefinite 6 week close starting with our 9th update next Wednesday, the 7th of March 2017.
We would like to thank all of you for your support and dedication to The Wonderful 101.
We will not accept any more pledges for this kickstarter campaign.
This kickstarter campaign will end on Monday the 5th of July 2017.
There will not be a pledge update after that date.
We are looking forward to seeing your reaction to our decision of discontinuing the kickstarter.
What happens next?
The 6 week close will begin on Wednesday, the 7th of March 2017.
At that point we will announce the details on how you can submit bug reports for the game, and investigate further small issues you come across.
We will do our best to respond to bug reports, and we will slowly be releasing the game to backers, and major updates (The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim).
This unfortunately makes it more unlikely we will be able to do bug reports this Kickstarter campaign, but we will still allow other backers to choose to do that during the 6 week close.
We will be able to do reports for those who have supported us during the last 6 months at any time of the 6 weeks.
Our 6 week close, and its start, lasts until midday on Wednesday the 5th of July 2017.
This is the time when we will end the game. Unfortunately this is unavoidable at this time. We will continue to sell and support The Wonderful 101 as a game. If you come across any challenges in that area we will try our best to help you.
After the close we will no longer have any communication with backers, neither in the game, or in game help areas. This is because we do not have the skills or experience to answer your questions.

What does “Indefinite” mean?
It means we will let the backers of our campaign decide if they wish to continue the campaign, or if they would like to cancel it before we get to the end.
