Loading a video source from the configuration database of GLMixer will take less than 20ms.
To develop GLMixer, you’ll need C/C++ compiler and g++. You’ll also need another software that will work with the blender videos, like VideoLan Pro or VideoSurf. Dump your blender videos into the blender videos directory and start GLMixer, pointing it to the directory where the blender videos are located.

With glMixer you have the possibility to mix 2 (or more) video files into one audio file, use input videos for video effects, set up delays for input videos/images, randomise playback order, apply silence, wrap around or stop duration, etc.

glMixer first opens a video, and then starts a loop that plays it back. This will keep playing back the video while a user is making changes to it, and only stop when the user presses the “STOP” button.
Once the video is stopped, glMixer will start updating the preview video as long as the user is still working on the project.
When the user stops working, glMixer will stop and save the video to the specified directory.
At the end of the project, the video will be saved automatically.
