GFXDraw

GFXDraw is a small utility that allows the developer to draw textures and images in the G-Code
– file format, which is the format used by most types of electronic devices to describe the
direction, speed, and distance that its tool head and/or actuators must move to perform
a desired task. Since it is human friendly, GFXDraw has the ability to automatically
annotate the g-code text with straight line paths, turning, and symbols.

GFXDraw Installation:
Although GFXDraw can be used in the command line, it is more intended for use from a
G-Code editor. The official G-Code editor for most high end printers is presently
Known as G-CodeX (also available as an open source plug-in).

The GFXDraw 3.0 release for the G-Code Editor for the G-CodeX editor is now available
as well as the add-on for the G-CodeX editor for the 3rd party G-CodeX editor, Geany.

The GFXDraw 3.0.0 release also adds the ability to draw on high contrast color,

The JoystickCursorTool application was designed to be a small utility that simulates the keyboard keys using a joystick. It can be used for keyboardless navigation in browsers and file managers, playing games without native joystick support, using the joystick port for electronic interfaces without needing to write a joystick driver as well as other situations where only a small subset of the keyboard is typically used.
JoystickCursorTool was originally coded by Hideo Nishimura as an entry for the Nintendo Tool Competition in 2002. A port to the Nintendo DS was published through Nintendo World in 2004.
Known Problems:
* Joystick is not working when a multi window is open.
* A small bug causing the cursor to move back and forth when using WASD.
* Windows XP compatibility issues.
* The app is currently not supported in a USB port (as of this release). The app will work in any other desktop port (or use a USB-to-serial adapter and a minicom type terminal software).
The JoystickCursorTool project was later taken over by Hasu Handa. Hasu is publishing an HTML5 version of the app called JoystickCursorTool-Web. This version was first published at the Team-Xecuter booth at the Tokyo Game Show 2011. The Web version will work in any web browser or web tablet.
A Source Code Release is available. This release is not yet made publicly available.

What’s New in the?

The JoystickCursorTool can be run as a stand alone application or imported from a plugin directory into your favorite plugin.
The functionality can be used to control the movement of your mouse cursor, left/right button clicks, CTRL + ALT + Up/Down/Left/Right keys that scroll the page in Firefox, Google Chrome and Opera (CTRL + ALT + End/Home key) and a plethora of other functions.
The application is easy to install and configure. You can follow the installation instructions in the read me file.
JoystickCursorTool Usage:
A joystick is a small box with a joystick on the front. It is connected to a computer using a pair of tiny wires or a USB dongle. The computer is connected to a joystick port which is a small serial bus and typically located near the keyboard.
The left, right and middle buttons are used to control movement of the joystick and the direction and up/down/left/right buttons on the joystick correspond to the mouse buttons. The up/down buttons are particularly helpful when controlling the mouse from a keyboardless computer.
JoystickCursorTool Options:
There are a few options that you can modify to fit your needs:
Motion
Position the cursor with the joystick. The default values position the cursor slightly to the right of the joystick. You can change this to any position that you wish.
Mouselook
When enabled, the mouse movement controls the joystick and you can use the mouse pointer to feel the joystick movement.
Cursor
The cursor is moved with the joystick. If you use the default values, the cursor is moved slightly to the right of the joystick and the up and down buttons are used to move up and down and left and right. You can change the cursor type if you wish by entering a new value for the cursor type. There are only the following cursor types currently available:
Crosshair – The cross hair is pointed at the cursor location and can be used to center the mouse cursor over an area on the screen.
Text – The cursor style is selected to be the text cursor for pointing to text and the cursor looks like the text.
Rectangular – The cursor rectangle is a box and the cursor can be moved around within the box. The default color is black and the corners of the box are colored red.
Circular – Similar to the rectangular cursor. You can get the circular cursor style by changing the circular to true in the “Cursor” section.
