JUST RAGGA VOL 1 – 12 Collection Torrent

The newly introduced Classic Mix Version is a budget edition and thus has no bonus tracks. This set presents what might have been the first part of a two volume set with volumes 2 and 3 coming later. Although it doesn’t sound like it now, at the time the promotional material made it sound like that it would be a ten CD set. For those who liked part 1, you’ll be happy to hear that Part 2 is now available as an affordable ‘Slimline’ version that comes in at just 4 discs. Coming just in time for the 40th anniversary of Treasure Isle, it is guaranteed to give you the feeling that you are at the dance in the late 70s, while in fact it is far more exciting than that, hence the title ‘Old School Ragga Dancehall Classics’. The first volume gives you some of the island’s best classic dances, e.g. Dollar Bill The Body, Suffer Me, Savoy Yardie, Treasure Isle, Everybody Dance, the title track Old School Ragga Dancehall Classics and many more. Many of the tracks are also mixed in stereo, stereo and mono, and mono as well.

This is the second part of the 5 volume set of soundpool collections that were released on DVD, once again produced by Dirk Ricklinson. As before, it contains a range of dance tunes, rhythms and genres. It is a modern classic that has been used by Andy Gibb on his DVD album called Disco Classics, it has also been used for a company promo video to promote its product line. However, this is far more than just an instrumental, with various sung and spoken word numbers thrown into the mix. It’s a great look back at a bygone era where the musical styles represented by these 5 volumes have paved the way for the more recent mixes and bedroom recordings that have been hitting the dancehall scene.

On top of that, we have a really good collection of well known artists from the past, but they havent been getting much playtime. Dave McLean, producer of the Ariwa label, has done a nice selection. There is a section of choruses which are just amazing, and they are well preserved. The version of Oh Carolina from his album Hail The Sun is one of his best songs, and with the selection of one of the best smooth singing acts of the last 30 years, The Jungle Brothers, the album isnt really lacking in swagger.
Artist Performance Set 3 is the perfect beginning to play along with some master Jazz players. In this set the featured player is a Jazz Guitar soloist who has a strong, soulful sound on the guitar. This performance style is ideal for anyone who loves to play Jazz guitar, but may not be fully experienced. The great thing about these three tracks is that they have a solo that can be played at half or quarter speed, which allows for more accurate practice and learning. In the notation window each solo is notated for you while you can observe the other instruments playing in real time in the piano window. In this set the solo instruments include Electric Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Clavinet and Bass Guitars. Each solo is notated in this performance style giving you the opportunity to learn the piece just like the real thing!
In Artist Performance set 4 you get a collection of Folk and American styles of music played by a Jazz Guitar and Guitar Soloist. In this set, the soloist plays a traditional Blues style of music and has a strong, soulful, Blues sound. This style of music is suitable for learning. In Artist Performance set 4 the solo instruments include Electric Guitar, Electric Bass, Acoustic Bass, Clavinet, Piano, Harp, Bagpipes and Tin Whistle. The melody, chords and chord progressions are all notated in notation and you can directly compare the guitar and stringed instrument solo against your piano transcription, if you have one.
