jagjit singh sajja is a teacher, who is on a trip with his wife and daughters. his daughters have problems getting along with each other, but he likes at least one of them. then his wife leaves him suddenly. when they come back after 2 years, his wife forgives him, but he can’t forgive her, and she leaves him again. now, jagjit is alone in his life and he makes friends with various other people in the town.
he cannot find anyone who can stick to him, no matter how much he wants. he is sad and frustrated by the way life has turned out in his life. then he meets zoya mirza. she turns out to be a beautiful girl and a singer. jagjit tries to get zoya mirza to take an interest in him, even though he only has money to do so. she does so because jagjit has become her friend. she gets to know of a conspiracy by her husband and her father to kill her husband jagjit and she helps jagjit in that. jagjit is saved by his love for zoya. he manages to escape from the criminals by making an escape on a bike and by slipping away from the police, which is a big no-no. he returns with zoya mirza and proves to the police that jagjit is innocent and he is released. through a flashback, we realize that jagjit is actually the real killer of zoya’s father, the kidnapper and that zoya’s father is innocent of the murder of jagjit’s wife. but the murderer who murdered her father, killed zoya and jagjit has to track him down. he pursues the murderer who is into a routine of killing at night. the murderer escapes, and then jagjit tracks him down. he manages to kill the murderer and his act of saving zoya is a happy ending to the film.
kasoor is a 2001 indian hindi romantic thriller film produced under mukesh bhatts vishesh entertainment ltd. and directed by vikram bhatt. it features aftab shivdasani in his second bollywood appearance and lisa ray in her bollywood debut rays voice was dubbed by divya dutta. the film also stars apoorva agnihotri, irrfan khan and ashutosh rana in supporting roles. it was released on 2 february 2001. the film is an unofficial remake of the 1985 hollywood film jagged edge but the last sequence has been taken from another hollywood movie what lies beneath.
remarking on this film is an interesting encounter for me, cause i get the impression from prior remarks that individuals either adored or despised kasoor. i adored it. the story was fundamental, a spine chiller, and i need to concede that the story was lost some place along the line, as we are tossed directly into a sentiment, yet in case youre a heartfelt like me, who cares right aftab was astonishing in this film, demonstrating that he can to be sure stand his ground in a component, while looking delicious thus mature! lisa ray was somewhat feeble, yet nevertheless the two have astonishing science. this film wont ever win an honor for inventiveness, however for shear happiness, i give it a 10. you love soaked stuff youll cherish kasoor and if that wasnt already enough, the music was incredible as well!
