There is only one thing better than Cat Cash.
And that’s CatCash.
Kitten Madness is a game where you compete to collect as many Cat Cash (money) to buy new levels and cat toys (toys) along with new kitty skins (kits). The primary objective is to help a kitten on a mission to collect toys while avoiding traps which are placed to hinder him.
With each level you play, you earn money. You can spend this money on mouse toys, power-ups, kitty skins and more.
Kitty Madness is inspired by the game played with Catnip. Get a kitten and start playing!
You can play with one or two kitties at once! Use your powers to help them navigate through obstacles and collect mouse toys for CatCash.

Kitten Madness is a run and jump game where you control a ball of yarn that you guide through various levels. The game is broken up into two types of play based on the game type “Collect the Toy” or the “Obstacle Course” game type. Each game type is broken up into short level segments. The game progresses by reaching checkpoints in each level.
Key Game Mechanics
Every level has an approximate length of 5-10 minutes, depending on the game type.
The “Collect the Toy” game type is a race against time where you guide the ball of yarn that is your cat through levels collecting as many mouse toys as you can before the time runs out. The mouse toys are used as your in game currency that can be used to purchase new costumes for your kitten, adding health and speed for your kitten, and other cool kitten specific stuff.
The “Obstacle Course” game type allows you to take on an obstacle course like obstacle where you navigate through each level while guiding the ball of yarn a kitten toy using your left and right arrow keys on the keyboard. The obstacle course levels are pretty short but are a lot of fun to play. The ball of yarn also has different zones where your skill will determine how the ball of yarn rolls through the level.

About the Cats:
The game features 7 different cats that you can select from.
We have a cat that is as cute as its name. Talk about kitty cuteness!
We also have catlike animations for those of you that want cats that look like they are really on a mission to do something.
The other 7 cats in the game are cats that we added a lot of love to make them just so cute.
Each kitten has their own special abilities. Each kitten has a different route around the map when you play them.
Each cat has unique animations and looks for new levels. Cats interact with each other and they look at each other for a much friendlier conversation than what we had in the early access builds.
The Early access version of the game includes a tutorial to teach you how the different cat skins and moves work.

Kitten Madness Free Download

The current single player game type is to collect as many mice toys as possible to earn cat cash and advance to the next level by competing for the cat toy to earn further cat cash. Navigate your way through obstacles with the aid of the yarn ball and hope to avoid oncoming traps, plant cat flowers and collect grass clippings and other cat litter resources in the grass. When you get far enough you will find an area where all the mice toys that you have collected are caught in a web – if you destroy the web, the mice toys get freed. Once all the mouse toys that you have collected are freed, you will instantly earn cat cash and move on to the next level. If you are low on cat cash you can feed the cat and regain your health for a cost of cat food.
Obstacle Course Game Mode:
The obstacle course levels are designed to be easy enough that you can jump in and play, but complex enough to keep you challenged. Complete the challenges to advance through the levels.
Mouse Toy Collection Game Mode:
This game mode does not require any Cat Cash – Simply navigate through the course to get as many mouse toys as possible before collecting the yarn ball that is represented on the screen – if you are low on health, you will regain health back for a cost of cat food.
Multiplayer Game Mode:
Kitten Madness will feature a multiplayer mode where you can play with your friends cooperatively or competitively.Find each mouse toy and return it to the cat home in the shortest amount of time. A team of kittens can hunt each other down and steal their mouse toys. When the mice have been collected all the kittens will receive their reward for returning the mouse toy to its cat owner.
Kitten Madness map:
Early Access includes 7 early access map – the first map has already been fully tested and is playable, and the others will be going through the same testing process as they are developed. The 3 multi-color kitten skins will be implemented starting with the first early access release.

About

This is a project for a community produced game for iPhone and Android with add-ons for Facebook. The current version of the game is a single player game. The final game will have a variety of game types as well as multiple players.
