Orlock
Are you ready for a life of blood-soaked revenge and visceral slaughters? Are you ready to become the ultimate killing machine?
You may think Orlock are psychos… but there’s a reason for that.
Home-grown Glorantha-inspired faction featuring guns, knives, stasis tanks, mind-control probes and the death-touch as their tools of the trade. They live deep underground, the deepest underhive zone, the most inhospitable of places for civilised folk to tread. Orlock will kill, and kill, and kill some more until their victims are no more.
This hardened faction is dripping in the blood, consumed by a vendetta for their sworn enemy the Outlanders. The Underhive has been a cesspit of violence and slaughter for too long. But there are those who still fight and live and grow, and are not content to mingle amongst the rats and disease.
Orlock are brutal and deadly, the most thorough in their campaign of death and destruction. Their only allies are in the Outlands; to be an Outlander is to be hated. Few have survived the two trials the Outlanders have set, the torturous Boiled Trial and the Warcage.
The day of reckoning has been pushed back by weeks and months, the Outlanders know the Underhive is ripe for the taking.
Gorlock
The Orlocks are not alone, following them are others of their kind. A pack of them, with guns, knives, or stasis tanks in their hands.
Some carry out the Orklone: the cancer of the Underhive, an off-world race of humans so corrupted by the power of the Warp that it has twisted them beyond recognition.
Some, the Overguns, are the Adepti Consortio of the Orklone, their Warp-smeared bodies are fantastical, their flesh even less so. They are a race of handsome men with a singular

What’s new:
is a game based on the Warhammer 40K Space Marine Legion from Games Workshop. In it, you play an Underhive faction of Marine thugs and murderers who oversee a city underground. Their job is to oversee the city, lay down the law, and provide protection to the citizenry above-ground.“Underhive” should sound very familiar to anyone who’s played Fallout: New Vegas. This game takes that concept and turns it up to 11. Players gain control of individuals in a powerful corporation-like organization that runs the city-like factions of any other game. Players can switch between the main campaign, competing other factions for power, and the threat-and-pickle-em-ups of the other side of the underhive, the Greater Underhive of Scum and Villainy.
As an extra surprise, this game has competing factions. Each of these factions comes with a number of NPCs that can compete for influence, so the underhive is not simply a city controlled by the Syndicate.
We’re going to focus primarily on the main story campaign, but we’ll hit a couple of highlights of the other side of the underhive as well.
Mining Corruption
In The Underhive campaign, you play as a group of archetypes who seem to switch between leader and thug. There are always two NPCs with matching archetypes, so they can switch places in combat. The archetypes have a list of Resources they can produce, among other things. There are five resources for the game: Health, Loyalty, Anger, Profits, and Score. Each resource is used to build up faction power (probes, walkers, and the like) and abilities for your character.
There are three main archetypes that you can play:
Probe – While you are a melee damage dealing robot, you survive by switching brains-in-a-box with a second “pilot” after a number of cycles. You control both pilots, so you can send one to hobble your enemies, and control the other for special combat tasks.
Sha’ir – A sniper type NPC; more lethal than the Probe, at a key cost of reducing your resources.
Chirurgeon – A hacker; can swap resources, skills, and hacking bits.
Each archetype is built into one of the five resources listed above. This totals thirty-two different alignments and resources for players to construct a character.
