**How to Install:**

– Download the installer
– Run the installer (the program will install itself in a newly created folder “Ohm Connect”).
– If prompted, locate your usb-midi driver (x86 or x64) in the compatible drivers folder and double-click on it.
– Follow the instructions on the screen.

**Usage**:

1. Start Ohm Connect (you will see the Ohm Connect logo in the middle of your screen)
2. Connect your USB-MIDI device.
3. Select your device in the list on the left.
4. If the device is a USB MIDI Keyboard, drag the MIDI keyboard into the list in the top left area to select it.
5. For USB-MIDI devices that require a specific driver, the program should locate the driver for you.
6. Start the program.
7. Connect your MIDI interface (MIDI Monitor, keyboard, etc.) to your computer.
8. Set up your first profile.
9. From the list on the left, select the first profile in the list.
10. Set up your MIDI mapping using the two buttons on the top right.
11. If you want to save the profile, click the Save button.
12. Save the profile as a text file (*.txt) that you can load later into Ohm Connect.
13. If you want to load a previously saved profile, click the Load button.
14. If you want to play the profile, click the Play button.
15. Try the MIDI mapping again.
16. Repeat steps 3-14 for other profiles.

The application connects to your Ohm Classic and shows the current status, the track assigned and any MIDI notes assigned to the instrument.
It also allows you to set the assigned track to a new track, change the instrument type (change from wind to strings or vice versa) and change the MIDI mapping (all this settings are done in the MIDI mapping tab).
You can also use the application as a controller. Just press the corresponding button on the screen and the notes will be mapped to your MIDI device.
