The number of people that use and crack software is on the rise. As more and more software applications are introduced to the market, more people are getting into the unauthorized use of software. The dark side is that you still have to add comments, ratings, and comments to images. The UI isn’t much different and has looked that way for a long time already. I hinted on my review for the new version that the image previews were a bit slow regarding a preview of the raw data of the preview image. Such a preview should be available in the LWUIT’s preview cache. However, with the alpha version of Lightroom 5 it is not (at least on my machine). Another minor issue is that the Advanced section changes the name of the file of the originals which isn’t much of a change. And there’s also the issue that if you show a preview of a RAW file, the program doesn’t switch back and forth whereas the original looks different from a JPEG file. And there’s a minor (and easily removable) bug that crops the entire image when you try to crop too early. All in all though, performance was slightly better in the version 5.0.5. There’s a memory leak I don’t think in the images section on my machine but I don’t know if that’s also true for this version.
