Download the plugin, extract it, and then paste the folder into the plugins directory of your Eclipse installation. You can do this by right-clicking on your Eclipse installation in the Windows taskbar, selecting “Run As…” and selecting “Run Configurations…”. In this dialog box, you can click the “Show all” button and select the “Plugins” item. Then navigate to the plugins folder that you downloaded the plugin. Click the “Import” button and then select the plugin you downloaded. Your plugins folder should now appear in the list.

You will find that the plugin adds a small folder icon in the status bar of your Eclipse window. From there you can choose what to show or hide. Hi,
I would like to know more about Practically Macro. Is it possible to map different keystrokes to macros?

To elaborate further, I am wondering if there is a way to tell Eclipse to accept Ctrl+Q, Ctrl+S and Ctrl+C as macros. I have found that Eclipse can autocomplete all of these sequences, which is great, but I am wondering if it is possible to trigger a macro instead?

I am using it and it has done everything I need it to do. But does it offer multiple timers? If so that would be nice.

Hi Annie,

I have a need for a macro recorder that does not record all of the modifiers. So if I want to record a Ctrl+S to Open a File, I cannot simply record Ctrl+S.

I would like the option to record a macro as Ctrl+S, but not as Ctrl+Shift+S (Open File).

I did find a similar macro recorder for Netbeans and it works just fine, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas?
