thats good – the isr we have created is running fine. ok, we can try and help you here. so, you are trying to monitor the launchpad variables in psim software dsp.
now, in order to run your isr you need to create a file that will have the isr in it – thats just a simple example. you need to do this by hand, in the microsoft editor, or in any other text editor, and then save the file in your sim directory.
now, thats all fine and good – you have a file that you can run.
now you need to tell psim to run your isr. in order to do that, you need to open a dialog box (by clicking on the icon on the top right of psim). this dialog box has a tab for the isr and lets you enter the arguments to the isr.
but you are missing that tab – lets fix that.
now, in your sim directory, you need to create a file called run.bat (or whatever your operating system calls it) and then you need to put the following in it.
code: @echo off. @echo off. @echo there are 4 arguments required for this isr. 1) the simulation name 2) the waveform file to run 3) the simulation directory 4) the isr file name. @echo. @echo you are trying to run the following isr with the following arguments: @echo. @echo 1) run simulation name: %1 @echo. @echo 2) waveform file to run: %2 @echo. @echo 3) simulation directory: %3 @echo. @echo 4) isr file: %4 @echo. @echo the simulation name, waveform file to run, simulation directory and isr file should be the same as the ones passed to the isr dialog box.
save that file, and then run it.
now, that should do it, if you are doing everything correctly. the isr should now be running.
