ELDEN RING is an upcoming fantasy action RPG, planned for release on Xbox One and PS4 in 2018.
The first solar eclipse of the 21st century provided a spectacular show across the United States as it made landfall in the Pacific Northwest.
Travelers around the country hurried to locate the best vantage points to view the act of nature as the moon and Earth slowly pulled apart in front of our starry night sky.
But a distinctive boom — the result of fireworks exploding in the air as spectators waved flashing and bright lights from their vantage point — was the only sound to disturb the spell at the desert planetarium in Bellevue, Wash., and the view of the celestial spectacle in the same location last month.
“People who are from Seattle and Bellevue, I hear they’re having a party,” said Chris Fagan, director of the Space Needle’s planetarium.
The previous solar eclipse was the last time the entire United States experienced totality as it crossed the country at the same time. Since then, eclipses have occurred on multiple occasions, but have been caused by a different part of the moon passing in front of the sun — as opposed to the U.S. experiencing one eclipse at once.
Now, a new solar eclipse is forecast to begin on July 2, and even though the country’s path will no longer cause totality across the U.S., the spectacle will still be visible in the same area of the Pacific Northwest.
The band of totality will include the populous I-5 corridor between Portland and Seattle.
“The only place in the U.S. where you can see the entire event is in the Pacific Northwest,” Fagan said.
The beauty of the eclipse, which will occur across Washington, Oregon and part of Idaho, is that you don’t need to be on the right spot. “The whole thing is viewed from the center of the eclipse,” Fagan said.
Just make sure you’re in the right place at the right time.
The best views of the cosmic drama will be between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. “The time your path of totality goes through is the best time to view it,�
