In general the game plays much like other “instant-classic” fantasy RPGs, with the main difference being the art style and the more-or-less fantasy-like world.

The story is pretty good, but not especially gripping, and the voice acting is so bad that I actually paused the game a few times to savor it.

The graphics look very good, with lots of detail in buildings, armor and weapons, but they seem a little plain at times, and the game is not really full of eye candy.

This is really one of those games that you can play forever, whether it’s fun to you or not.

I know that this is “okay” for people who like fantasy rpgs, but I would go for something more “full” of, erm, “flavor”, instead.

If you can live with a game that spends more time and effort making an inaccessible story and tries too hard to be like a movie than simply trying to create a fun game experience for yourself, this is your game. In that case… you’re probably better off watching a movie instead.

I forgot to mention… you can, if you wish, play multiple characters, if you have the money to buy more than one character for a character class. In my case, that was perfect for my casual gamer (who took no part in the development of the game, of course).

Another thing is that, if you think a particular character class is bad, there is a way to make your character more balanced, by leveling up other classes to level 2, and this will allow you to switch to them. This is a perfect example of the “make it so you can play other classes if it gives you more fun” approach I was talking about.
