Elden Ring Free [Updated] 2022

I have been a fan of the Fantasy genre for quite a while. Games like Chrono Trigger or Final Fantasy IX have been constant inspirations for me, and I always keep wanting more. With that said, when I first heard of Tarnished, I was extremely wary of it. At first glance the game looked like a JRPG (a genre I am not a big fan of), but once I tried it out I could see the game has something new to offer that I have never experienced.

In the early parts of the game you are sent back to Eden, the ancient homeland of humanity, where your character is a newborn infant, left on its own. Your character grows up in an idyllic setting which gradually is cut off from the outside world. Humanity is apparently taken over by the manipulative and harsh Beast Gods that have been holding the world captive for over a thousand years, and they begin to colonize the world for their own evil purpose. The first thing you do as a grown-up is explore the ruins of Eden, where you realize that your character is in fact the prophesied savior of the world, and you wield the power of the Elden Ring as well as other abilities.

As you explore, you begin to find out how far the World has fallen and the lengths people are willing to go to save the world. You will see corruption in both the monsters you fight, or the people who inhabit the World of Eden. You will learn about the Savage God, or the Beast God, you will encounter and discover why they are the way they are. You will have to use these abilities as well as other skills to restore peace to the World of Eden, or to save the lands from the evil that surrounds them.

I have to admit, I was at first very skeptical about the whole Elden Ring system of Tarnished.

Sure it’s a pretty concept, but a fantasy version? Sorry, not going to buy it. But when I took my first look at the system, and realized how much of a departure it is from what I normally play, I immediately warmed up to it. It takes a very specific type of player to really make it work, and there are a lot of ways to get around certain game elements, but still retain the essence of the game.
