Capcom ultimately approved the development as a full remake of the game. A “secret agenda” was announced at E3, which was an over-the-top dark, horror storyline that would be all new to the series. Hospital CEO Jack Krauser, who is known to employ strong tactics in business, brainwashes the few remaining staff while he and his adviser, Dr. Randolph, seek to acquire a special virus that can help them develop “technology beyond the imagination of the 21st century.”
One of the big changes coming up in this game is definitely Leon, and you can see how the game has put a new spin on him. He’s a little different looking, but he’s been redesigned from the ground up to be more darker and his style is closer to the Police Officer outfit (from the original) than the classic Leon sort of outfit I’m used to. I will say the Leon change is one of my favorite changes. I love the dark costume, and he looks like a zombie-killing avenger.
