Downloaded the new version, and now when I run the plug-in it pops up this error: Error at Library/Core/OnSelectionChanged() in file://usr/local/Documents/WORK/Projects/LiveSync/LiveSync.py:-1:5: AttributeError: ‘NoneType’ object has no attribute ‘_Lumion_version’
I have the same issue when I try to export a model to Schematic and Feature. I have the following error: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
My model is part of a Revit family, and it is a Lumion 2013 solution. Once I try to export, I can no longer open the file. Reinstalling Lumion 2013 and Revit 20x does not solve the issue.
First, I’m very happy to recommend this plug-in. It works great for us. We were having all sorts of issues before we tried it. I only wish we found this many months ago. I’m not even the most technical user of Revit and I’m able to export a mesh model to a collada file without any issue. We are working on an ArchiCAD based CNC program and use Revit to schedule the jobs and to plan out the models that we send out for fabrication. I am one of three users, and the others are very technical. We have just started using Lumion LiveSync over the past six months and all of us are impressed by the capabilities of the plug-in. We are testing it out of curiosity, and are not aware of any other plug-in that will perform as Lumion LiveSync does. I would like to note that the LiveSync demo includes many features we did not have time to test before the plug-in went live. Our users can request new features by giving Lumion feedback on our support site.
Hey, i have installed the plug-in in Revit. I hope it helps, but when i copy paste the model it copies fine but when i edit it and paste it again the ‘Not Supported’ error popup and i will lose my edit. How to solve that?
i am having this same problem and have contacted lumion support. they have suggested that the problem is caused by the revit model file used in the project. i’m not sure how to deal with this – if anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.
hey guys, my lumion model doesn’t seem to be rendering after i export it from revit 2013. i exported the project and the lumion model but it still looks the same as it did when i was using the lumion 2013 project. i’m not sure what to do. it’s been a week and i’ve had no luck finding the issue. any help would be appreciated!
i work at digibiz and we have the same issue as you, but with lumion 2013. we’ve exported our lumion model from revit 2013, then imported it into lumion 2013, which we’ve been doing since 2013. the result is the same, and we can’t figure out how to fix it. we’ve tried a few things and nothing has worked.

revit 2013 has come a long way in the last few years. autocad and revit are becoming more and more integrated. this is a big change from how things were in the early 2000s. for example, if you want to model the top of a column, you can now click on the top of the column and select that option. this is much faster than finding the top of the column, then clicking on it. you can select multiple faces in revit and hit the export command. if you hit the export command, and are using a 2d view, you get the option of saving the top or bottom surface of the part. you can also choose the color of the surface. this can be used in a lot of ways. for example, if you are working on a model for a website, you can create a 2d section view of the site, then export the top or bottom surface of the walls and floors. you can then import the model into a website and create a 3d animation of the site.
