This project will attempt to develop a cost-effective way of loading and detecting viral genes in a fraction of blood. This novel method would accelerate the process of viral resistance detection and follow-up treatment options. Current HIV resistance testing systems are generally based on amplification of target DNA or RNA from blood with primers amplifying a part of the resistance mutation itself. PCR-based amplification, however, is expensive and requires well equipped laboratory and highly trained personnel. Using a very sensitive sensitive method for sequence-specific detection of viral genomes, we will be able to achieve the sensitivity of RNA-PCR in as little as 3 or 5 microliter of blood, which is roughly a fourth of a standard blood drop. This method will be initially tested for the resistance mutations in HIV RT gene and then modified and applied to HIV protease. The method will not only increase the detection sensitivity, but also will detect the entire viral genomes, facilitating the global investigation and surveillance for drug resistance. PROPOSED COMMERCIAL APPLICATION The successful implementation of this research project will produce a functional assay for HIV drug resistance testing. In the near future, it is expected to be applied in several high-potential markets such as HIV resistance surveillance in patients; evaluation of failure in treatment with traditional therapeutic regimens; determination of drug resistance on genetically tested drugs for specific patients; monitoring of the efficiency of antiretroviral therapy or of antiretroviral drugs; development of antiviral drugs; and genetic screening of potential drugs or animal drugs.Romulus Yacono

    Stroke Fill Instructions:

    1. Double click to start a new image, and name it something like “Stroke Fill”.
    2. Create a new layer.
    3. Move the mouse up and down the screen to create free curves.
    4. Fill the entire line with a different color. To remove color you select the color range of your line, and hit delete to remove it from the line.
    5. Click on the right mouse button to fill the next line. This will change the colors of the strokes in the rest of the image.
    6. Click the left mouse button to fill the strokes based on the last mouse move. This switches to fill mode for the current layer.

    This is the level ‘f7_creature_pink’ on the planet ‘npr1’ (long story, dont ask)
    I use R.U.B which is a very basic spaceship editor, and I use a 256x256x128 voxel block as the terrain.
    I can only guess that the mini AI critters are not in the main universe, as all the ‘platforms’ are within a solid, zero height block and the very small white circles are not within a voxel block.

    Hello,I did a little update this week on the game.I think I can make a smooth 30fps without the textures are completely 2D (to get only 21 FPS using all the details!).I started to design the game a little bit but have some engine issues. I read that the PS3 is really less powerfull than the XBOX 360. But I had fun to design a space shooter!I have a new permission from my partner (I do not use any violence). If you want to play the game you must choose a way!Exclusive-Atomix

    M2KW is an old commercial X-MSX game.

    On a X-MSX computer you can play by screenmodes:J,T,B,M,T,J and if you are lucky you can have a 50 FPS on 20MHz CPU!

    I update the game with the easy models. Is good for the people with no skills and time. No rocket but they have many items with no effect and no shooting bullets!

    There is still some bugs but I want to show new screenshots and add a few features.

    About the game M2Kw is very old, but fun to play. If you have no skill or time the easy game is a good start! The game will be online in a month or 2.

    The project is the free version with the 3D and cross-platform. Maybe you can add your rules!

    About this game:The project has been started a long time ago (I started the team in 2007).I try the original game (MSX) version in 2017. I will show more or less all the original game.I made a small difficulty for my project. First release of a project for 2013.

    Yes, the game is slow because it’s the original. But the graphic is very nice (80% with the 3D models). The gameplay is an easy arcade shooter

    The Cornflake and the Dirt is a fictional hyper-muscular children’s book written by Kris Keller in 2010, and released that December. It features a protagonist named Halo Guignol who lives inside a polystyrene carton in the yard of a youth care facility. Over the course of the narrative, Halo’s polystyrene carton makes him the food of choice for a food company’s employee named Gort, who also claims to be the caterpillar in the caterpillar-chocolate bar called Creme Brulee, and Gort’s robot girlfriend, who calls herself “Gortnibbles.” The book also features cameos by Wolverine, Rip Van Winkle, A Modern Day Nomad, and Superboy, who, as a fictionalized version of Adam Strange, introduces himself and a group of followers as “The Human Magnets” to Tyler Guignol and Ann, Tyler’s mother, at Alpha and Omega Amusements.

    Halo’s parents are brutalized in his youth by the toxins in his carton, and get charged with manslaughter. Halo is removed from them and placed into protective foster care, where he is first sent to a facility that takes care of essentially any juvenile delinquent, including Gort. Afterwards, Halo is sent to another facility run by a preacher named Lenny Rosenberg, who rails against homosexuals and uses a crucifix as a bookend to illustrate his points.
