Skypix Scanner Driver 80
I use 80 Magic Wand for almost everything. I have two normal scanners I use the Magic Wand on. They use the black and white disk (360) not this one. But, after I added the 320 disk I have a problem. I can only get a square format now. Not round. The regular disk does not have that problem. Also, I can not get a higher file size than 5M but I can get the file size to 1M by using the 320 disk. I did have trouble with the black and white disk. It would sometimes just go back to center as I adjusted the parameters. Would I have to change it? I would like a square format. If so what should I choose? I have thought about the 80 and I cant seem to get it to work, I would hate to think there is a better way to use the 80.
The only reason why I bought the Magic Wand was because it was not expensive and I had lots of failures with the old HP ScanJet 5. I was able to get it to work with the new 8.5″ scanner as I previously used that. The problem came with the new software from HP. I did have trouble with it as well. I actually forgot to say that all I did to correct the problem was to clean the optics. This was easy as I just took the Magic Wand, disk and 4 washers and all of a sudden it looked new. I also uninstalled the old software as it seemed to make things worse.
I run a small business and I have been looking for a cheap scanner to use as a backup. I bought the HP Scansnap 600 at Best Buy for $270. It has worked great for me. I can scan both color and black and white. I have actually had more success with the 600 than with the Voyager that I purchased earlier and was not easy to use. There is a problem with the stock software, however. It gives the drive a MASSIVE amount of memory leaks and shuts down every time I scan. I couldnt get the software to run as it just kept freezing. With the 800, I am using the HP Instant Ink and have not had that problem with it. If you are looking for a cheap scanner for the home the Voyager may be better option than the 600. The 600 is good but I wish they came with a keyboard and mouse that work with it.
Hello best-review.com . I wanted to let you know that the Starlight IX and Compact model 80 are excellent. I was using my older lens model 29 and I didnt want to buy a new one because of the high price. The Starlight IX is also a really durable scanner. I have only taken it to a couple of different bookshops, and the cover still seems fine. When my old model broke, they sent me a new one for free! I am happy with the purchase.

I wish to thank you so much for your excellent survey on this product. I am really pleased to have this scanner now. I am doing the ” there are problems when scanning this book.” application note. When I reordered, it kept giving me a message that there are problems. It is not giving me that message for long now. It still gives me a message that it is damaged. What should I do to resolve that problem?
