SoftonEyes does what it’s supposed to do. I disabled the “auto” function, but the changes weren’t applied. I tried the “slider” function and it works well. The only problem is the “auto” function doesn’t work on my desktop. That’s a big problem for me because I spend most of my time in the dark. I also tried to enable the dark mode, but nothing happened. The last thing I tried was to use Windows 10’s auto-adjustment. I enabled the feature and nothing happened. I guess I’ll have to keep using my old screen brightness.

I’ve had this program for a while now but it doesn’t work! What’s going on?!?!

The main purpose of the program is to let you adjust your screen brightness. I don’t have any other option for this purpose. The program’s response time is so slow that it’s unworkable. I tried to increase the brightness stepwise, but it does not work.

I bought it with the hopes that I could use it at work. It hasn’t been that useful because I don’t have to use it at work (but it doesn’t matter anyway since I’m retired). My one area of concern is that it is impossible to change the time it turns the screen on. It always turns the screen on at 5:00am (I have it set to never turn the screen on and turn it off at 4:00am) regardless of whether it is morning or evening.
