risen: this is a pretty nice game, very original and the graphics are pretty good. you play as a character who looks like a warrior from the past, and you have to find out his story. this is a rpg (role-playing-game), and the game is played with a sword, but it is not a fps game (first-person shooter).
after the above free games i started to check the reviews on the internet, and i couldn’t believe that nearly all the reviews (and the players) were giving this game a “10/10”. so i decided to download it, and i have to say that in just 5 minutes i was addicted.
in the case of spec ops: the line, gameplay takes place in dubai which is infested by bullet sponges infected with a bio-weapon that involves a gelatinous ooze that infects the bodies of the infected and causes them to mutate. as such you play as either the us special forces element known as task force 141 or a fictional organisation known as prophet, the story unfolds differently in each game mode. in the parachute mission mode, players drop from a chopper onto a sand dune and must make their way through the various missions against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic dubai.
gathering only a handful of weapons and supplies, and having to rely on an improvised climbing gear to get around in the most hostile of environments, players must go through, and eventually, escape the city. this challenging and action-packed setting will put your skills to the test as players battle through environments that consist of wrecked cars, car service garages, and exploding clinics.
players must complete their objectives by shooting down a faction’s helicopter and infiltrate a building and rescue hostages. uncover stories by playing 1 vs 1 with other players in co-op and in competitive multiplayer.
