Collectively, they have laid down their lives to fight for the oppressed and the downtrodden, ensuring that no one is forgotten.
As players progress through the free campaign mode, they are challenged to try and bring down the Great Northern Empire and finally free the enslaved people, at the same time experiencing the riveting narrative unfolding from both sides.
As heroes in their own right, they are pitted against each other – The Ravenskill Rebels and The Great Northern Empire – each battling to influence the fate of the fighting.
Where it is down to a battle, a player’s actions, in turn order, will have an impact on the whole of the battle, down to influencing which territories other players get to be involved in the battle.
Using powers available to their respective faction, players will have to influence the game experience for both factions and contribute to the story.
The game boasts unique board-game mechanics, and a deep and compelling story for the first person to play it.

Call it timing, but the summer launch of Exile has given me plenty of time to fill.
It’s been a few months since we released Exile to the PC — I am so happy I was able to return to that world. Currently through the game mode line-up it features these big names: XCOM, Sid Meier’s Pirates!, and XCOM 2. Over the next few months we’ll have some growth through the game modes and more.

The Astonishing is the best-selling rock opera by Dream Theater. Drawing heavily on the original story of the album, the game features a playable character during the game’s single player campaign, progressing through The Great Northern Empire of the Americas. The campaign campaign features The Great Northern Empire story, and requires players to build a coalition of the Great Northern Empire’s local factions to control the most sectors of the Great Northern Empire. The Great Northern Empire Victory requires the player to take control of an entire territory, which must be achieved by the second game, unless additional local factions exist.
The game allows for one, two or four-player co-operative matches as players build their coalition of players. During the course of the game, players control factions to gain influence and control over various sectors of the Great Northern Empire, and they can claim more sectors by owning more influence points. Players can attack other factions in order to claim control over territories, although players can alternatively give up power by offering their opponent influence points.
Players can compete against one another in free-for-play matches, with an option to play in a single player, two player and four player game modes.
In single player, a scenario is set randomly, using random maps and factions drawn from the game’s configuration utility. Players earn experience points in battle, which are used to upgrade their characters. The victor is the player who has the most influence and control over the local factions in a section of land, or alternatively, whoever takes control over the most land.
In two player mode, players are pitted against each other as they compete over control of specific territories, ensuring that their victory is mutually exclusive.
In four player mode, both players compete over two territories. The best players earn the most influence points and are rewarded with exclusive concert tickets. The map changes every time the mode is played.
