Single Link Compressed Mega Torrent Download. Download DownloadHas anyone come across something like this? I have a HP Evolve 1010nx with an Intel Xeon D-1520 running Windows 10 Pro.
I have had an issue where the network adapter will spontaneously fail to connect. The event log shows “Network device with network adapter {GUID} has been disconnected from computer {GUID}”. I have attached a screenshot showing the error message. When I reboot, the network adapter reconnects and the issue does not occur again.
When I check device manager, I can see that my adapter is listed correctly as Intel Device {GUID} with description “Intel Ethernet Connection I217-LM (Intel Xeon D -1520). I am trying to figure out where to go from there. The adapter may die in the future.
I have no idea what else to check so I am asking the community.
Edit: I found someone on the HP community forums that has the same issue and solved it.
If I were you I would get in touch with the vendor of the adapter and ask them how to report the issue to them so they can address it.
Not sure if that’s an answer, but maybe a hint for you. I have the same error with my E5-2650 v4 and the Intel Ethernet Connection I217-LM adapter – I have the same event message from the Windows event log – but when I check the device manager the adapter is not listed at all. I have the same Intel Xeon D-1520, same OS as you.

I have seen this issue too (based on the error message) and it seems to be a software problem. Some people suggest: try a different driver, make sure you have a fresh windows install or update the firmware.
One of the things that can cause this is bad memory. Another thing is an incompatibility with a specific version of firmware from the vendor. I’ve had this problem twice where the chipset did not see my adapter as a PCIe x1 or x2 (I forget the exact numbers, and that is why I looked for PCIe x1 x2 speeds
