The Superbug is a small, easy-to-handle aircraft with a highly refined flight model. It is guaranteed to be one of the best aircraft to fly in FSX. Theres definitely something to learn from it. Ive heard so many good things about this aircraft and it is a great value for money.
After testing the Superbug Beta 2.2.2, I was very impressed with the level of work and effort that has gone into the official release of version 3.0.1. Whats new in this release? Well, its tons of new features and improvements. Its a true fighter jet, not a close-support workhorse, so forget about tanks, troop carriers and all the other things that dont belong in a combat situation. This is todays fighters, not yesterday s battle tanks. Its the Superbug itself, so everything is brand new. It has an all new flight model, and the Fly-by-Wire CFFA is now fully supported. Additionally, add ons are now supported, including all of the add ons that I tested out. Its also possible to add in optical night vision, infrared compatibility, or even twin rotors. Everything is supported.

The team has even gone to the effort of adding realistic cloud effects and weather effects that occur on a daily basis around the Scottish Isles. In this way, the Superbug pilots, too, will experience real weather conditions.
I urge you to get out and fly the Superbug today and experience what SkyFly really is all about. I have no doubt that this will be the best aircraft in the genre (and who knows maybe the best aircraft in the world!). But thats not what its all about. Its about a game that is so fully immersive that you may forget that you are in fact a virtual pilot. For me, this is the epitome of fun in aviation simulation. Because the makers of Superbug have brought the worlds most realistic cockpit to FS9, and because they have created not just a one-off aircraft, but an entire campaign, a squadrons worth of fun! Now thats what I call value for money.
For example, you can enter the cockpit and experience the sensation of flying the Superbug using first-person view. If you decide that you would like to see the outside of the aircraft as well, then you can switch to 3D. Naturally the cockpit view is about the most immersive and well crafted element of Superbug. A superb concept, its a great feature, and its something that FS9 should be proud to be offering! Its not very often that you see a tutorial that teaches you how to use the 3D cockpit so well. Obviously FS9, too, realizes the benefits that are associated with 3D viewports. The level of attention to detail and excellent graphical quality is outstanding, and when you get in touch with the 3D cockpit, youll be completely immersed in the game. The creators also did a great job with 3D sound which really enhances the experience. 3D sound works far better than I had originally imagined. The natural sound of each part of the aircraft enhances the realism of flying the Superbug.
