This is our official soundtrack and wallpaper set that can be used to accompany the game by Jussi Elsilä. It contains two tracks in stereo, and 14 wallpapers in high resolution. Since the game is a “rogue-like” game with a protagonist that changes, the music is also being given a number of “props” to represent him and his journey across the Bottom of the Well.

About Jussi Elsilä
Jussi Elsilä is a Finnish sound designer and musician (with a severe stutter). With this project, Jussi Elsilä introduces to the video game and RPG genre a radically different approach to music, using musical instruments based on rhythms of the human body (e.g. the breath, the hips, the throat) without a steady beat. He recorded tracks for the game’s soundtrack with a low-key, live approach, using just a laptop, two guitar pedals, and a large speaker.
The inspiration for this project came from his work as a kantele player. “I was always intrigued by the fact that the kantele is the instrument of the silent, yet it has such incredible tonal capabilities. Then I started experimenting with the kantele on my own, not knowing if it would ever be more than just an object of curiosity.”
Jussi Elsilä took an entirely unexpected plunge into the world of traditional music and sound design for videogames, and while it took his musical ear out of its comfort zone, he’s never been happier.

About The Bottom of the Well
The Bottom of the Well is a roguelike game in development for PC. Jussi Elsilä was hired by the game’s creator to compose the soundtrack. The game will take place in a small town in a parallel universe where countless number of people were sent to an alternate reality of unknown dimension and the surface world is rapidly approaching collapse due to waste of resources. Your character, a young girl, is expected to be the one who will make it out alive.
The player is limited to the use of an acoustic guitar, a drumstick, a metronome, and an arranged sequence of the player’s breathing, throat, hips

Features Key:

  • Challenge yourself to make it through as many missions on the island as you can. The TV show is big and chaotic, which is perfect to test your skills!
  • Depending on the time of day, the island will present you with different dynamics – and you will need to respond to that!
  • Did you know that the show is set in the future? Because there is a lot going on here. Make sure you can keep up with it!
  • The game requires you to actually complete missions. That means you can keep going offline and replay missions while saving or you can use the real-world time and go offline to do missions.

Asteroids: Nothing Is True, Everything Is Permitted is a fast paced sci-fi space shooter, for the true classics of space sim and retro pixel art. If you like outer space and old school arcade games, asteroids is the game for you!
Astronomical Journey: The Moon may look rather small on the screen, but in reality it is the centre of the Solar System, around which the planets, moons, and the rest of the world orbit.
The objective:
EARTH! EARTH IS THE OPPOSITE OF EVERYTHING
BEGINNING:
The player is tasked with exploring the surface of the moon, and discovering the secret base of a secret society.
GRID:
At the starting point of the grid, the player can choose from the following basic types of missions:
Evacuation: The player must reach a specified point on the grid. In order to do this, the player must complete all of the missions in the previous area, as all missions lead to points on the grid. The player cannot skip any of them. Any structures can be targeted.
Secure: The player must capture a specified structure.
Destroy: The player must destroy a structure, or prevent a structure from being built.
Space Jam: The player must destroy all alien objects to the left of their target.
Recover: The player must bring back to their home planet all structures that have been destroyed or evacuated to the right of their target.
Update: The player must construct a previously destroyed structure.
Evade: The player must avoid a specified group of structures.
Gather: The player must collect all structures on the grid, regardless of their type, or reach a specified point on the grid.
Heal: The player must heal all structures.
Upgrade: The player must unlock a structure.
Building: The player must construct a structure.
Unlock: The player must complete the current level of a structure.
As the player travels deeper and deeper into the moon, more structures become available.
Career: Earn fame by reaching a high score on the games leaderboards.
