Dynamically add helper view to a master-detail xib, iPad
I have a master-detail view with a Table view on the master and a List view on the detail. When viewing the master view, the layout is consistent. When I switch to the detail view, I want to add a helper view in the right side of the row on the master view, the same helper view on the right side of the row on the detail view.
I found this resource which has me half the way there but I’m stuck. I do not want the helper view to scroll with the row.
I know this could be done with the code, but I’m hoping to set this up in the storyboard.

What Hadoop platform to use for a python script that gets data from web pages?
I am creating a small web scraper (python 3.3) for use on a cluster. The data will be stored in HDFS and processed with a python script using the distributed libraries.
If this were a java program, I would use a combination of mrJob and Tomcat. I wonder if there are similar tools that are available for python.
Ideally I would like an open source solution for this kind of setup.

If you’re writing to the cluster, the problem is that you have to write to the cluster. You can’t do it from a local client (unless you modify the client to talk to the cluster).
While you can implement a client as a Java process running on a server that connects to the cluster, you still have the problem that you have to write to the cluster.
My suggestion is to use Apache Kylin. Its a SQL engine that can also run in a Python script. It is capable of both reading and writing from HDFS. It reads from HDFS, do it’s thing, and then writes it to an Apache Hive table.
Hive will then distribute the writes back to HDFS. The benefit is that the writes are distributed to HDFS via a consistent and predictable API. Thus, you can chain
