Creating a smart object

You can use the `Photomerge` command in three different ways:
Create a new layer. After clicking the Create New Layer icon, open the Create New Layer dialog box by choosing Layer from the top of the Layers panel and clicking the icon at the right end of the menu bar. Choose the New Layer from the Save As drop-down menu at the top of the dialog box, type a new file name, and click OK. You then click the `Photomerge` button to start the stitching.
Merge into an existing layer. After clicking the `Photomerge` button, a new dialog box with a window for each source image will open. The first window is titled Merge from All Layers, and it has a collection of source image thumbnails displayed in the bottom window. You can use the icons in the Merge from All Layers window to select the source images you want to be included in the merged image.
After you’ve selected the source images that you want to include, click OK to open the Merge Into… dialog box, as shown in Figure 9-22.

iPhone Application testing with real device (not simulator)
I started developing applications for iOS and now I’m in the testing phase of the process.
The question is – how do you test your applications on real iPhone or iPad devices if you do not have a developer account for testing your apps on the iOS devices?
It is not a problem to download the developer account for testing, but I’m not sure how to download the device of the devices I tested before with my developer account (I have downloaded the accounts before and installed the applications but my accounts were not linked to any devices, only the development profiles were linked to the accounts)
Is there a way to connect my development profiles to the real devices? I’m using Xcode 4.2.
