Apple II is one of the first successfully 8-bit microcomputers mass-produced that was a huge success back in 1977. What’s New in AppleWin 0.9.6:
As it is often the case with early computers, Apple II has undergone some major revisions. Even some file formats or the network protocol it uses have been revamped, making it more difficult to work with the legacy hardware. To address these issues, AppleWin version 0.9.6 has been released recently.
The changelog list covers some changes that have been made, including Windows native versions of the application. Here are the changes:

In cultured spinal cord neurones, gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) is known to inhibit neurite outgrowth, an effect which is in part mediated by the production of cAMP. The present study investigates the mechanism of action of GABA, using the A5 region of the rat spinal cord as a neuronal model. We find that GABA inhibits neurite outgrowth in a dose-dependent manner with a half-maximal inhibitory concentration (IC50) of 1.2 mM. Increasing the extracellular concentration of Ca2+ from 0.5 to 5 mM has no effect on the inhibitory effect of 1.2 mM GABA. Unexpectedly, the addition of 8-bromo-cAMP, an activator of adenylyl cyclase, enhances rather than inhibits neurite outgrowth. Furthermore, when GABA-mimetic inhibition of neurite outgrowth is dissociated from neurite degeneration, we find that the latter is also enhanced by 8-bromo-cAMP.As of June 8, 2017, the DVD of FAST FACTOR FOR YOUR FUTURE was released.
