Edit: Per request… I edited that to make it a bit less airy-fairy. A non-fantasy item level 1335 would be fine I think. I don’t really see the point in making it high since it’s a multiplayer game and not really that exciting (in theory). Really, there’s no reason I can’t do well with those stats.
Main attacks are now very strong while item-level is not yet high enough and defense is not favorable in that it allows you to endure critical hits.
Also, I listed the stats because there are a lot of ways to approach this. I’m fine with it with these stats and it balances well to my experience levels.
The game is recommended for anyone who is just starting out as a player and just learning about the systems involved. Those who already have a decent understanding of how the game works will be able to use the knowledge that they already have to greatly improve their results. As mentioned, the game is made to be a beginner’s game that is meant to be fun with a strong foundation.
For those who are familiar with the game, I hope you find the character adjustment system in this game as enjoyable as it was in the previous games. Please enjoy the game.

Attack high, Speed low, Defense is not affected by critical hits, and Recovery is low. The only thing that is good for attack is heavy resistance from gear and MP.
As for defense, it’s not that it’s bad that it reduces critical hits, but since it only applies to “normal attacks”, it’s really only good for active defenses, like Magic and Bless.
If your character could become a Mage, I’m sure you can handle the job.
