If you can’t tell by the many pictures posted above, it’s been a bit of a beautiful fall in the Gulf Coast. The sunshine, beautiful scenery, and spectacular fall foliage are wonderful. I can’t think of a better time to visit our local Farmers Markets. We have so many to choose from that you are likely to find one close to you that offers all kinds of fresh vegetables, fruits, meats, honey, jams and sauces, cookies, breads, and lots more. I hope you will join me in discovering many new foods and wonderful products.
Now through the end of the year, farmers markets will offer a portion of their profits back to one of their favorite groups: Coastal Louisiana Advocates, Inc.
So if you want to give a gift this year, but it’s not yet time to think about Christmas, think Fall. Once you shop for produce you will find so many great options for the holidays. I have found tons of berries, including strawberries, blackberries, and raspberries. You can find a delicious selection of colorful sweet corn, which we call candy corn in the South. So many greens and collards too, but don’t forget the kale and chard. Pomegranates, pumpkins, and other gourds. All will be available for your holiday baking.
As always, you will find wonderful small businesses at these markets. In addition to the diversity of products, you will find local artisans with hand made candles, soap, soaps, olive oils, handcrafted wood furniture, and much more. I find so many beautiful and unique gifts at our farmers markets. You may have your own favorites.
The only problem with farmers markets is that they are so fun that you may forget to take pictures.
The Christmas season is here, and will be for another week or two. I have lots of holiday baking recipes that will be added to this website, so that everyone can enjoy the wonderful scents and flavors.

There are so many boot sector password managers available on the market but only Secureword is able to protect boot sector passwords by randomization. “Randomization” means a code is generated to replace the original code of the password. For example, “Password” could have been mapped to “Password1” and then the code of “Password” would be “Password1”, and therefore, when you type “Password1” your actual password could be changed to “Password1”. So, with Secureword, the original code is replaced with a new one. This way the original password will never be shown.
Secureword is a boot sector password manager; this means that a user will have to type his boot sector password in order to load the operating system. If the user is distracted by having to type the boot sector password, that user could be robbed of the keys necessary to boot the computer.
